Skomer Island Puffin Silhouetted against a sparkling sea

Description

At the end of a long day of photography on Skomer Island I still got excited at this view on the north of the island.  The sparkling seas were lit up by the spectacular welsh sunset and the puffin stretched its wings and even in this light I managed to capture the beauty of backlit puffin wings – I count myself so lucky to have spent so many hours photographing these beautiful birds.
