Description
Birthplace of King Henry VII, Pembroke Castle has a huge history – with Norman beginnings and Oliver Cromwell taking it and encouraging the townspeople to disassemble it. Luckily it has been restored very well and is a great place to visit. My children used to love visiting here and running up and down its stairs and around the grounds. I took this photograph soon after sunrise while the water was still calm enough to provide a lovely reflection of this magnificent castle.
