Puffin with Open Beak in Sunset Silhouette

This image of a skomer island puffin was taken at sunset as the light sparkled on the sea behind it.  I seem to like this time of day on Skomer as I’ve got several images similar to this available!  When you stay on the island you have the opportunity to take images that day visitors aren’t able to take.  I see so many images of puffins taken in harsh sunlight but staying means you can use the softer light available at the beginning and end of each day.
