CHOICE 1 – PEMBROKESHIRE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP: BEGINNER LEVEL 3-4 hours With so many photography opportunities in Pembrokeshire you’ll be spoilt for choice for a location to meet up and learn about your camera. The venue will be by arrangement with Rachel to suit weather conditions, light and your preferences. Rachel will take you through the capabilities of your digital camera, the basic rules of good photographic composition and teach you how to understand ISO, aperture and shutter speed so that you can take your photographic skills to a new level. Start your photographic journey here! Full details supplied on booking – easy access sights will be available if necessary.
CHOICE 2 SKOMER ISLAND PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP 5-6 hours For 2021 If landings are allowed to Skomer Island Rachel will be granted a commercial operators licence for Skomer island allowing her to be an official Skomer Island photographic guide and to take small parties of photographers to the island. These groups will not exceed 4 – a great way to make friends with a shared interest. Landing is included in the price (boat fee excluded) and you can meet Rachel at Martins Haven in time to board the boat. Rachel knows the island very well so will be able to take you to photograph guillemots, razorbills, short eared owls (if they’re breeding) and of course atlantic puffins. Learn how to take photographs of birds in flight on this spectacular nature reserve. This workshop requires a reasonable level of fitness as we will be standing/walking on uneven paths most of the day, needing to get on and off boats and climb steps when arriving on the island. All you need to bring is your DSLR camera (or quality bridge camera), lunch, water and boat money. There is a national trust car park at Martins Haven. Full details supplied on booking Course runs May, June, July
CHOICE 3 – 3 HOTSPOTS OF PEMBROKESHIRE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP: 4-5 hours An exclusive workshop for 2 people – transport provided if needed (when Covid-19 restrictions allow). Choose between the north or south of the county and Rachel will take you to 3 stunning locations at the correct state of the tide and light to get cracking photographs. With her vast knowledge of Pembrokeshire Rachel can save you time learning where to be at what time to get those perfect shots. Think of this as a complete day off and let Rachel arrange everything for you. Times are arranged to suit you and conditions and tuition/guidance will be available if needed. Full details supplied on booking.
N B Every effort will be made to re-arrange workshops where necessary but prices include a non refundable deposit of £40 which will not be returned where this is not possible
